iOS app development
Native iPhone and iPad products designed around the job they need to do. I can help shape an early idea, build the useful core in Swift and SwiftUI, connect the backend, test it properly and take it through App Store release.
Cornwall, UK · Independent developer
I design and build native iOS apps, websites and full-stack products for people with a useful problem to solve—based in Cornwall and working across the UK.
What I build
Native iPhone and iPad products designed around the job they need to do. I can help shape an early idea, build the useful core in Swift and SwiftUI, connect the backend, test it properly and take it through App Store release.
Fast, accessible websites and full-stack web products that work on every screen. That can mean a focused business website, an interactive product, a customer portal or a more involved data-backed application.
Existing app or website not behaving, not converting or stuck before launch? I can audit the code and user journey, identify the real blockers, stabilise the product and turn the findings into a practical build plan.
How the work moves
A short, direct conversation about the people using the product, what they need and what success actually looks like.
A clear scope and interface direction before complexity is allowed to grow. The first release should earn every feature.
Working software, regular checkpoints and testing on the devices and browsers people will really use.
Deployment, App Store or web release, measurement and a sensible next iteration based on evidence rather than guesswork.
Selected evidence
The portfolio includes products built for very different people and problems. Each app has a stable page with the product purpose, platform, features and real interface imagery.
A mobile workspace for sole traders, turning daily site activity into structured work logs, expenses and invoices.

I can work with businesses, founders and organisations in Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, St Austell, Penzance, Redruth, Camborne, Bodmin, Wadebridge and elsewhere in Cornwall. Being local makes an in-person conversation possible; a good remote process keeps the work moving between meetings.
You do not need to arrive with a finished specification. A useful first conversation can start with the problem, the audience and what is currently getting in the way.
Common questions
Yes. I can help turn an early idea into a clear product scope, prototype the important journey, build the native iOS app and support the release. If the idea needs challenging or simplifying first, I will say so.
Yes. I build responsive websites and full-stack web applications as well as native iOS products. The right format depends on the audience, the job and how the product needs to grow.
No. I am based in Cornwall and enjoy working with local businesses, founders and organisations, but I work remotely with people across the UK too.
Yes. I can review an inherited codebase, diagnose performance or reliability problems, improve a difficult user experience and produce a realistic route to release. I preserve useful existing work rather than rebuilding for the sake of it.
